Owned venture · Running
A D2C cosmetics business we own. It has traded for years, so the operating model behind it has been tested by real customers.
The system problem
A commerce business generates demand, orders, questions and returns at the same time. Each of those usually lives in its own tool, and the gaps between them fill up with manual work.
Architecture
One system where the storefront, the data, the lifecycle marketing, the partner network and customer service all read from and write to the same place, with a Control Room on top of it.
Built
How it connects
An order updates the customer record. That record decides which lifecycle triggers fire. The Control Room shows both, and the next decision is taken there. Nothing is exported and typed in again along the way.
Operating
The system runs the business day to day. It starts the routine work without a person, and anything with real consequence still passes an approval.
No public performance figures have been released for this system. What is shown above is what was designed, built and is running.
